After a day off the bikes, we were ready for our east coast adventure, the glorious weather continued, as did the great roads and food.

A free weekend, good weather forecast and no riding for almost two months meant that we just had to get ourselves away for another adventure. Two months I hear you cry! Yes, other things took over but now I am back, discovering more new places.
The wonderful thing about Sydney, Australia is that you can ride all year around. The only downside of this is that you might have to contend with some extreme weather.
In this case, I am talking about heat. The description ‘very hot and sunny’ and a forecast of 43 degrees Celsius by the weather forecaster is a subtle way of saying ‘sensible people should remain inside with the air conditioning on’. Turns out we’re not sensible people But we are creative and adaptable.
I’m going to try a new thing, rather than write extensively about the journey to places, I’m going to focus on some of the fab places I like to visit. This idea came to me from my last post, where I realised that there are so many amazing and unknown places within riding distance of Sydney that people don’t know about, well some do, just not a lot.
Days 3 and 4 had us turning back north but the fun continued with a touch of sadness in the mountains.
