In just under a week, Gary, our gear and I are heading to the USA for a big motorbike trip. We’re hiring bikes from Easyrider in San Francisco and heading down the coast to LA and back up via Yosemite National Park. It’s going to be AWESOME! Standby for as much blogging as our data plans will allow! Excitement!

The Putty Road – 14th August 2016
Just a day trip today, and it was the perfect day for biking, a fresh start with a promised high of 18 degrees, clear blue skies and not a drop of rain to be seen or forecast. We set off around 9.30am, stopping briefly in Windsor to make sure our petrol tanks were topped right up and then crossed the river to join the Putty Road. Continue reading

Here we go!
Being a total novice at website building I launched it well before I was totally ready. I have been drafting copy on my phone and computer via Notes and Google Docs and then got a bit carried away with putting up half finished pages and publishing them. Anyway, the long and short of it is that I am out there, sharing my story, even if it’s quite short for now. I have lots of ideas for content and Blog subjects so please bear with me, more with come.
